Muhlenberg Township, PA (August 11, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Sunday afternoon to a serious crash with injuries in front of 3801 River Rd in Reading. The incident, reported at approximately 4:29 p.m., involved a vehicle striking a telephone pole and was quickly upgraded after reports indicated the car had caught fire.
Responders from Muhlenberg Township Fire and Rescue, along with multiple medic units, arrived to find a critical scene with one female occupant still inside the vehicle and showing no pulse, as well as another victim requiring CPR outside the vehicle.
