Naples, FL (May 12, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash early Monday morning at the intersection of Collier Blvd and Tower Rd left two women injured, including one who was airlifted as a trauma alert case, according to local first responder reports.
Greater Naples Fire and Collier County EMS were dispatched to the scene around 6:05 a.m. Upon arrival, they found one of the victims, a 36-year-old female, suffering from severe injuries. Emergency crews designated her a “Trauma Alert” and airlifted her via MedFlight to Gulf Coast Medical Center for urgent treatment. A second individual, a 57-year-old female, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Physicians Regional – Collier Blvd for care.
Authorities confirmed that southbound lanes of Collier Blvd were partially blocked as crews worked at the scene. The intersection—located in a busy commuter corridor—is a known traffic hot spot during morning hours. As of now, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office is leading an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
