New Hartford, CT (January 29, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a crash with injuries Wednesday at the intersection of Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202) and Bakerville Terrace, resulting in a temporary road closure and emergency medical evaluation of those involved.
The South End Fire District and New Hartford emergency services arrived on scene shortly after the call was dispatched and found multiple vehicles involved in the collision. Due to the impact and the positioning of the vehicles, responders announced the need to close the roadway temporarily to ensure safety and facilitate emergency operations.
