New Orleans, LA (January 31, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a vehicle crash with injuries along Interstate 10 westbound near the Orleans Avenue on-ramp. The collision occurred at approximately 2:13 p.m., drawing a large response from New Orleans Fire Department units and EMS.
According to dispatch audio, Squad 7 was the first to arrive on scene, with Engine 4, Ladder 13, Rescue 7, and other units quickly following. The crash was reported in the vicinity of the I-10 High Rise structure, with initial reports indicating that someone may have been trapped inside a vehicle.
Emergency responders from New Orleans Fire worked to provide medical care to the injured while attempting to gain access to those potentially entrapped. At least one person was confirmed to have sustained injuries in the crash, though the extent has not yet been publicly detailed.
