Newport News, VA (September 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 41st St and Chestnut Ave resulted in at least one injury Wednesday morning. The crash involved a black Toyota and a silver Chevrolet van and led to an emergency response from local fire and police units.
The accident occurred around 7:35 a.m. in the southeastern sector of Newport News, near residential and school zones. Initial dispatch audio confirms that one or more individuals sustained injuries, though the severity has not been fully detailed.
