Newport News, VA (September 22, 2025) – A person sustained injuries early Monday morning following a car accident near the intersection of Dibbe Boulevard and Wurt Boulevard in Newport News. The incident prompted a joint emergency response from police and emergency medical services just before sunrise.
According to dispatch audio from Newport News Fire, the patient was reported to be bleeding from both the nose and arm. The crash occurred around 7:39 AM local time, and EMS3, along with other first responders, was directed to the scene to provide medical assistance.
The exact nature of the collision, including how many vehicles were involved or the circumstances that led to the crash, remains unclear at this time. However, early reports confirmed that the individual injured was alert and in need of medical attention upon the arrival of emergency personnel.
