Norfolk, VA (September 24, 2025) – A 14-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning at the intersection of S Main St and E Berkley Ave in Norfolk. The incident occurred just after 5:15 AM, prompting a rapid response from Norfolk Fire and EMS units, including Engine 8 and Medic 8.
Emergency personnel arrived to find the young teenager suffering from a leg laceration and road rash following the collision. The child was assessed on-site and received medical attention before being transported for further care. Authorities confirmed the crash occurred directly at the corner of S Main St and E Berkley Ave, an area with early commuter activity and heavy vehicle presence.
