Norfolk, VA (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Friday morning to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of Sewells Point Rd and Chesapeake Blvd in Norfolk.
The incident occurred around 6:01 a.m. on January 16. Responding units, including Ladder 14 and Medic 10, were dispatched to the scene on TAC 2 after reports of a vehicle collision in the area. Upon arrival, crews located a woman in a nearby restaurant parking lot who was complaining of back pain following the accident.
Medics assessed her condition and provided initial treatment at the scene. It has not yet been confirmed whether she was transported to a hospital for additional care. The number of vehicles involved and the events leading up to the crash have not been disclosed.
Police and fire officials worked the scene to ensure safety and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No further injuries have been reported.
