North Sacramento, CA (August 20, 2025) – A cyclist sustained injuries Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Marconi Avenue and Watt Avenue in North Sacramento. The incident was reported at approximately 5:15 p.m. on August 18.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved a red Ford Mustang and a bicyclist. Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched under a “1141 Enroute” designation, confirming the presence of injuries. Fire personnel also responded to the scene to assist with care and scene management.
The cyclist was treated on-site before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The severity of their injuries has not yet been publicly confirmed, but the incident was categorized as a significant collision involving a vulnerable road user. No other injuries were reported.
