Norwalk, CA (September 10, 2025) – A traffic accident involving injuries occurred Wednesday morning on the northbound I-5 Freeway, just south of the Norwalk Blvd off-ramp. The collision caused lane blockage and drew a prompt response from emergency and towing services.
The incident was first reported around 7:39 a.m. and involved a blue Tesla and an unspecified second vehicle. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, the vehicles came to a stop in the #1 lane, temporarily disrupting traffic through the corridor. Fire personnel from Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACOFD) were dispatched to the scene to assess and treat injuries.
Although the number of individuals injured has not yet been confirmed, at least one person required assistance. Paramedics were notified, but a caller disconnected before completing the transfer, according to dispatch notes. A freeway service patrol (FSP) team and rotation tow were also requested to assist with clearing the disabled vehicles.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no details have been released regarding contributing factors such as speed, distraction, or road conditions. All involved parties remained on scene while emergency crews provided assistance.
