According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, impaired driving remains a leading cause of fatal crashes in the state. Drivers are urged to make responsible choices and avoid getting behind the wheel under the influence to prevent such tragedies. Pedestrians, too, are encouraged to use designated crosswalks and exercise caution when crossing busy streets.
