Oklahoma City, OK (January 16, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported Thursday afternoon on the southbound side of Interstate 35 near Northeast 63rd Street in Oklahoma City, prompting an emergency response.
The crash occurred around 4:26 p.m. on January 15. Engine 2 and Rescue Ladder 22 were dispatched to the scene following reports of a collision involving at least one person requiring medical attention.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel assessed the injured and provided on-site care. Officials have not yet released information regarding the number of vehicles involved or the severity of the injuries sustained.
Traffic on I-35 southbound may have experienced delays as crews worked to assist those involved and clear the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
