Oklahoma City, OK (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Friday morning to a highway traffic accident with reported injuries near the intersection of North I-35 Service Road and East Britton Road.
The incident was reported at approximately 5:57 a.m. on January 16, along the eastbound side of the highway. Engine 2 and Rescue Ladder 18 were dispatched to the scene following reports of a collision involving at least one injured individual.
First responders arrived to assess the scene and provide medical care. While details on the number of vehicles involved and the severity of injuries remain limited, paramedics rendered aid to those hurt in the crash.
Traffic in the area was likely impacted as emergency personnel worked to clear the roadway and ensure public safety. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
