Olympia, WA (March 11, 2025) – A 26-year-old woman was hospitalized following a head-on crash caused by a suspected DUI driver on State Route 510 near Reservation Rd SE late Saturday night.
According to authorities, the collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. when a 52-year-old Lacey man, traveling eastbound on SR-510, crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by the Olympia woman. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and resulted in injuries.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured woman to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia for treatment. Her condition has not been publicly released.
Officials arrested the Lacey man on a vehicular assault charge, citing impairment as a suspected factor in the crash. The accident led to a road closure for over four hours as investigators worked to gather evidence and clear the scene.
