Omaha, NE (January 17, 2026) – A traffic accident involving two vehicles and possible injuries was reported on January 15 at the busy intersection of 84th Street and West Center Road in Omaha.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after reports of a white pickup truck and a white SUV colliding and blocking traffic. The crash occurred around 5:16 p.m. and prompted a police response to manage the scene and investigate further.
Witnesses told authorities that one of the individuals involved—described as a man in his 50s wearing a baseball cap, leather jacket, and jeans—was seen leaving the scene on foot. The individual was later spotted entering a nearby Arby’s and subsequently walking toward and entering the Mega Saver convenience store.
At the time of dispatch, the extent of injuries was not confirmed, but the call was classified as a personal injury accident, indicating at least one person may have been hurt.
