Omaha, NE (January 17, 2026) – A rear-end collision involving at least one injured party was reported on January 16 near the intersection of North 114th Street and eastbound Dodge Road in Omaha.
The incident was called in around 11:23 a.m. and involved a white Honda Civic, believed to have also been part of an earlier crash. Emergency units initially responded to what was classified as a possible personal injury accident. One unit was later cleared, suggesting the scene was brought under control quickly, though a full medical evaluation was still underway for those involved.
This stretch of Dodge Road is a heavily trafficked corridor, and rear-end collisions are common in areas with stop-and-go conditions. Temporary delays may have occurred as responders worked along the eastbound lanes.
Authorities are reviewing the sequence of events, including whether this secondary crash was a result of congestion or a delayed chain-reaction from a prior incident.
We send our well wishes to those affected and hope for a prompt and full recovery for any injured individuals.
