Oxnard, CA (February 17, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning at the intersection of Fifth Street and Rose Avenue, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The accident occurred around 4:50 a.m. when the pedestrian was crossing the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk. A white Honda Pilot collided with the individual, resulting in fatal injuries.
Emergency responders arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The driver of the Honda remained at the location and cooperated with authorities.
