Palm Springs, CA(January 30, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck and at least two passenger vehicles resulted in injuries Thursday night on westbound Interstate 10, just west of Indian Canyon Drive near mile marker 32 in the Palm Springs area.
The crash occurred around 9:28 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol logs. Initial reports indicated that a gray minivan reportedly pulled out in front of a semi, leading to a collision that also involved a third vehicle, identified as a Toyota sedan. One of the vehicles, a Honda Odyssey, sustained major rear-end damage.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and confirmed injuries, although the exact number and severity have not been officially released. Multiple lanes were initially blocked, with lane #4 remaining closed for an extended period as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
