Penngrove, CA (September 25, 2025) – One person was transported to the hospital following a rear-end collision at a Penngrove intersection on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 4:14 p.m. at the junction of Minnesota Ave and Old Redwood Hwy. Officials reported that a black BMW sedan was struck from behind by an SUV under circumstances that are still under review. Emergency medical services responded quickly and assessed those involved at the scene.
One individual sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injured party was reported to have consumed alcohol prior to the collision, though authorities have not confirmed whether that individual was arrested or cited in connection with the incident.
The intersection experienced brief traffic delays as crews cleared the scene and completed the initial investigation. Both vehicles were removed from the area shortly afterward.
