Car Accidents in Scranton, PA: Police Reports and Crash Data
Key crash statistics, high-risk roads, and accident report resources in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
I-84 starts just next door in Dunmore and heads east toward New York. Just north of downtown, US 11 turns into the North Scranton Expressway, and the Biden Expressway brings drivers in from I-81. PennDOT has ongoing construction on the roads and ramps where I-81 meets I-84, and that work is expected to last through 2031.
