Pewaukee, WI (January 21, 2026) – A multi-vehicle rear-end collision on eastbound Highway 16 near Ryan Rd in Pewaukee caused injuries and significant traffic disruption Tuesday morning, leading to at least two people being transported for medical treatment.
The accident took place around 7:58 a.m. and involved several vehicles, prompting a substantial emergency response. According to early reports, a minimum of four tow trucks were requested to clear the wreckage, and eastbound lanes of Hwy 16 were shut down at Ryan Rd as responders worked the scene.
Waukesha County responders, including emergency medical services, arrived quickly to assist those injured. Two individuals were confirmed to have been transported to nearby hospitals, though the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
