Philadelphia, PA (January 16, 2026) – A 58-year-old man was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center following a motorcycle-versus-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon near North 39th Street in Philadelphia.
The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. and involved a low-speed impact while the motorcyclist was in motion. Medic 26B responded to the scene and initiated a trauma transport after assessing the rider, who was reportedly taking blood thinners and complained of pain in his lower back and right leg.
Despite the injuries, emergency crews confirmed that the man’s vital signs were stable during transport. Medical personnel prepared for the arrival at the Presbyterian emergency with an estimated time of under 10 minutes from dispatch.
