Philadelphia, PA (January 16, 2026) – A multi-vehicle accident on Old York Road on Thursday evening left two people injured and required trauma transports to separate hospitals, according to emergency dispatch communications.
The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. and involved at least two adult victims. A 37-year-old woman sustained a possible head injury and was transported by Medic 5 to Lankenau Hospital under trauma protocol. Her vital signs were reported as stable at the time of transport.
A second victim, a 45-year-old man, suffered chest and leg pain as a result of the collision. He was also evaluated on scene, with medical personnel confirming that his condition was stable. Medic 10B and Medic 18 later facilitated transports to Einstein Medical Center as additional support arrived at the scene.
The full scope of the crash, including the number of vehicles involved and the events leading up to the collision, has not yet been confirmed. Emergency teams remained on location to manage traffic and support investigation efforts.
