Philadelphia, PA (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday afternoon to a motor vehicle collision on Knights Road in Philadelphia that left two individuals with head injuries and required trauma transport to Torresdale Emergency Room.
The crash occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. and involved at least one vehicle. Medic 47 transported a 54-year-old male who suffered a head injury in the collision. Although the man did not lose consciousness and showed no signs of bleeding, he was taken in under trauma protocol due to the nature of his injuries.
Dispatch communications also referenced a 54-year-old female with similar injuries. Both individuals were reported to have stable vital signs at the time of transport. No additional injuries were confirmed on scene.
Authorities have not yet released information on how the crash occurred or if multiple vehicles were involved. The roadway remained active while emergency services responded and investigated the scene.
