Phoenix, AZ (January 25, 2025) – A tragic hit-and-run incident claimed the life of 43-year-old Leandro Antonio near the intersection of Dunlap Ave and 16th Ave. According to police, the crash occurred just before 7:00 PM when Antonio was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.
Phoenix Fire crews arrived and made every effort to save Antonio, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet identified the type of vehicle involved in the fatal collision.
