Pittsburgh, PA (January 31, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision led to injuries Friday evening at the intersection of East Ohio Street and Chestnut Street on Pittsburgh’s North Side. The crash occurred around 6:58 p.m. on January 30 and prompted a response from fire, police, and EMS units.
According to dispatch audio, at least one person involved in the crash sustained a back injury and received medical assistance at the scene. Emergency crews confirmed that there were no hazardous leaks from either vehicle involved.
Units remained on scene to assist the injured and assess the roadway. While the intersection remained accessible, delays were reported as responders worked alongside police to manage the area and begin an investigation into the cause of the crash.
