Pittsburgh, PA (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Friday evening to a single-vehicle crash on southbound Route 65 near the Marshall Avenue exit in Pittsburgh. The incident occurred around 7:31 p.m., when a vehicle veered into the median, prompting a response from Engine 35 and EMS personnel.
Medics located the vehicle just past the exit and made contact with the male driver. Although the individual initially declined medical assistance, he later reported back pain, and EMS crews continued with care at the scene. The patient’s condition beyond that has not been disclosed.
Traffic through the area was impacted temporarily as first responders provided treatment and worked to clear the scene. The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed and remains under review.
