Plano, TX (January 16, 2026) – Authorities responded to a traffic collision with injuries on Thursday afternoon on the northbound US-75 near Legacy Dr in Plano, where at least one vehicle involved was reported to have child passengers.
The crash was reported shortly before 4:40 p.m., with emergency units dispatched to the far right lane of the northbound side of US-75. According to initial details from dispatch audio, a black Honda Pilot was involved in the crash along with an unknown second vehicle. Responders arrived quickly and began checking on those inside the vehicles, including children who may have sustained injuries.
Traffic personnel were also requested to assist with managing the flow of vehicles through the impacted area as emergency operations were underway. While the full extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, medics were on site providing care and evaluation.
The Plano Police Department is currently handling the investigation into the cause of the crash. Further details are expected as the case develops.
