Portland, OR (August 16, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Friday afternoon, August 15, to a traffic accident involving a 14-year-old male bicyclist near 13050 NW Cornell Rd in Portland. The young bicyclist sustained a head injury and was conscious upon arrival.
Washington County Fire and EMS units, including Engine 61 and EMR 117, provided on-scene medical care and ensured the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Traffic in the area was temporarily restricted while responders treated the injured bicyclist, creating minor delays for motorists.
