Providence, RI (July 16, 2025) – A crash that caused injuries and disrupted traffic on Interstate 95 northbound was cleared Tuesday evening in Providence. The accident occurred near Exit 35 at US-1A/Thurbers Ave, prompting a swift emergency response and temporary lane closures as crews worked to assist the injured and restore traffic flow.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person was hurt in the crash, which occurred during early evening hours—typically one of the busiest travel times on the I-95 corridor through Providence.
