Randolph County, MO (January 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on US 63, approximately one mile east of Renick, at around 6:50 PM on Thursday. The crash resulted in injuries to one individual and significant damage to one of the vehicles.
The accident involved a 2023 Ford Escape driven by a 39-year-old female from Ashland, MO, and a 2023 Kenworth truck operated by a 28-year-old male from Concord, CA. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Ford Escape failed to yield and struck the rear of the northbound Kenworth. The impact caused extensive damage to the Ford Escape, which Prathers Towing towed from the scene. The Kenworth truck sustained minor damage and was driven away.
The driver of the Ford Escape sustained injuries and was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Kenworth was uninjured. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation. Our thoughts are with the injured driver, and we wish her a quick recovery.
