Reading, PA (January 30, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported in front of 501 N 13th St in the City of Reading on the afternoon of January 29. The crash occurred around 2:04 p.m. and involved a hit-and-run, with one of the vehicles fleeing the scene before authorities arrived.
Emergency crews responded quickly to assist the injured and evaluate the remaining vehicle at the scene. At least one person sustained injuries, though the full extent has not been disclosed. Paramedics treated the victim while officers began gathering evidence and speaking to witnesses about the vehicle that left the area.
The roadway near the crash site experienced temporary traffic disruption as responders worked to manage the situation. Authorities have not yet released a description of the suspect vehicle, but an investigation is underway to identify the driver who fled.
