Reidsville, GA (September 14, 2025) – A serious rollover crash in Tattnall County prompted an air evacuation Saturday morning after one individual was found trapped inside an overturned vehicle near the intersection of Bubba Kennedy Rd and Highway 169.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 11:30 a.m. on September 13 following reports of a vehicle crash involving possible entrapment. Upon arrival, responders from the Reidsville Fire Department located the overturned vehicle and discovered two patients—one outside the vehicle with injuries and another seriously hurt and trapped inside.
Rescue personnel utilized specialized extrication tools to remove the trapped individual from the wreckage. Due to the severity of their condition, a medical helicopter was brought in to airlift the patient for urgent care. The second patient was also treated at the scene for injuries sustained during the crash.
The response was coordinated across multiple agencies, including Tattnall County Fire, Smith State Prison Fire, Tattnall County EMS, Evans County Fire Rescue, and Claxton Fire Department, who assisted with rescue operations and roadway management.
Officials have not yet released the names of those involved or the cause of the crash. The investigation remains active.
