Richmond Township, PA (February 1, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Scheiry Rd and Schuler Rd in Richmond Township. The incident occurred at approximately 3:19 p.m. on January 31, according to local emergency alerts.
Fire and rescue personnel arrived to find two vehicles with confirmed entrapment, one of which involved a child reportedly suffering from leg pain. Another occupant, an adult male, was also reported injured. Crews worked to extricate both individuals from the vehicles and provide medical attention at the scene.
Although the crash did not block the roadway, it prompted an urgent multi-agency response due to the entrapment and presence of injuries. The severity of the victims’ injuries has not yet been officially disclosed, but both received care following their extrication.
