Richmond, VA (September 17, 2025) – Emergency crews responded early Wednesday morning to a two-vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of E Belt Blvd and Lordly Ln, close to the Burger King in South Richmond. The crash was first reported around 5:38 a.m., according to Richmond City Fire Dispatch.
Engine 20 and other first responders arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved in a collision at the entrance to the North Southside Plaza shopping area. Medics provided treatment to those injured in the crash. While the exact number of injured individuals has not been released, dispatch reports confirm that at least one person sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
The crash, which occurred during the early morning commute, temporarily impacted traffic in both directions on E Belt Blvd. Drivers in the area were advised to use caution and consider alternate routes while emergency services were active on scene.
