Richmond, VA (September 10, 2025) – Emergency medical crews from Richmond Fire and Rescue responded Tuesday afternoon to a motor vehicle accident that left one woman injured near Chamberlayne Parkway. The crash occurred near the intersection of Chamberlayne Pkwy, Westfell St, and School St in the city’s Northside area.
Fire and EMS units arrived shortly after 5:03 p.m. following reports of a crash in the southbound lanes of Chamberlayne Parkway. Upon arrival, first responders located a woman in her late 30s who was experiencing head and back pain. Paramedics assessed her condition at the scene and provided initial care for her injuries.
Richmond Police were already on the scene when fire crews arrived and assisted with traffic control and investigation efforts. The surrounding lanes experienced temporary delays as authorities secured the area and worked to clear the roadway.
At this time, no further information has been released regarding the number of vehicles involved or what may have led to the crash. An investigation is underway to determine contributing factors.
