Riverside, CA (September 1, 2025) – A woman tragically lost her life in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning on the 15 Freeway in Riverside County. The victim has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office as 70-year-old Cynthia Weymans of Yorba Linda.
The deadly crash occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. on August 30 in the northbound lanes of the Ontario (15) Freeway, just north of Limonite Avenue in the Jurupa Valley area. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved at least four vehicles, including two SUVs and two sedans.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and began assessing the scene. Sadly, Cynthia Weymans, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was pronounced deceased on site. The full number of injured parties, if any, has not yet been confirmed.
