Riverside, CA (September 24, 2025) – Emergency responders from Riverside Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a traffic collision on Tuesday evening that resulted in a head injury. The incident occurred around 6:07 p.m. on the eastbound Easton 91 Mission Inn on-ramp and involved a black Mercedes and a Super Duty pickup truck.
Medics and fire crews worked quickly to assist a female driver who reportedly struck her head during the collision. The injured party was located on the left shoulder of the on-ramp, where she received care. Despite an initial attempt by the pickup truck to leave the scene, both vehicles were found stopped at the location when authorities arrived.
According to dispatch audio from the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the Mercedes was described as uncooperative during early interactions with the reporting party. Authorities have not confirmed whether any citations or arrests were made, but the situation remains under investigation. Traffic was temporarily impacted in the area as emergency crews responded and gathered information.
