Rochester, NY (January 17, 2026) – A woman was injured in a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of E Main St and State St on January 16, following a collision that caused airbag deployment and led to a request for EMS response.
Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 9:00 a.m. after reports of a crash near Durand Park along the north service road. One female occupant involved in the incident reported neck pain following the deployment of the vehicle’s airbag. An ambulance was requested to evaluate the patient, and responding units worked quickly to assess the situation.
Authorities restricted eastbound traffic on Main St at State St while first responders managed the scene and ensured the injured party received care. No additional injuries were reported at the time, and the cause of the crash remains under review.
