Rock Valley, IA (September 12, 2025) – Two individuals are being treated for injuries after a crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 18 and Dogwood Avenue, located two miles west of Rock Valley, IA, on September 10, 2025, at 10:29 AM. The crash involved a 2010 Dodge Charger and a 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty towing a flatbed trailer.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the Dodge Charger, driven by 40-year-old Debora Stashuk-Anderson of Sheldon, IA, was traveling westbound on Highway 18 behind the Ford F-350, driven by 40-year-old Timothy Lange of Doon, IA. Deputies report that the Ford F-350, which was waiting to turn north onto Dogwood Avenue, had stopped to allow traffic to clear. The Dodge Charger then struck the rear of the trailer while waiting for the turn.
Both Stashuk-Anderson and a passenger were transported to Hegg Health Center by Rock Valley Ambulance for treatment of their injuries. Stashuk-Anderson was cited for following too closely. Assisting at the scene were the Rock Valley Police Department, Rock Valley Fire Department, and Rock Valley Ambulance.
