San Bernardino, CA (September 15, 2025) – A young woman from Fontana lost her life in a fatal crash early Saturday morning in San Bernardino, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:53 AM on September 13 in the 1500 block of West Kendall Dr, a corridor that connects multiple residential and commuter routes on the city’s west side. Authorities identified the deceased as 22-year-old Desiree Herrera. She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Officials have not released details regarding the circumstances of the crash, including whether other vehicles were involved or if factors such as speed, distraction, or impairment played a role. At this time, the cause remains under investigation by SBDP’s traffic division.
The roadway was temporarily closed in the immediate aftermath of the crash as officers documented the scene and coordinated with medical personnel. No additional injuries were reported.
