San Diego, CA (September 23, 2025) – A traffic accident resulting in injuries occurred early Monday morning on Interstate 8 near the Interstate 15 southbound on-ramp in San Diego.
According to San Diego City and Poway Fire dispatch communications, the crash was reported around 7:05 a.m. in the area of Camino del Rio North and the I-15 southbound ramp to I-8. Fire units, including Engine 45 and Truck 45, were dispatched to the scene to assist with the response.
The number of vehicles involved and the total number of injuries have not been confirmed at this time. At least one person is believed to have sustained injuries in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and are working to determine what led to the collision. Traffic may have been temporarily impacted in the area while emergency crews attended to the scene.
