San Diego, CA (April 8, 2025) – A man was tragically killed Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego. According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. in the 5000 block of Carmel Knolls Drive near Almondwood Way.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck while walking in the area and sustained critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to Scripps Health in La Jolla, where he was later pronounced deceased.
