The crash occurred around 5:05 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 280 near the Alemany Blvd off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident began when the motorcyclist attempted to perform a wheelie, which led to a loss of control and a subsequent crash.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries after the collision. The rider was treated at the scene before being transported to San Francisco General Hospital. Officials confirmed that the motorcyclist suffered a fractured left wrist along with abrasions to the right knee and hand.
