San Jacinto, CA (September 23, 2025) – A violent crash outside Soboba Casino in San Jacinto left a minor and an adult trapped inside a burning vehicle Sunday evening. The collision occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the 22777 block of Soboba Rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the incident. One of the vehicles overturned down an embankment, while the other caught fire following the impact. The flames quickly spread to a nearby field, further complicating rescue efforts.
An adult and a minor were trapped inside one of the vehicles and sustained major injuries. Emergency crews from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and other local agencies responded swiftly to free the victims and provide urgent medical care. Both injured individuals were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The conditions of the victims have not yet been publicly released.
Both vehicles involved in the crash were towed from the scene. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash and whether any contributing factors were involved.
