San Jose, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-280 NB at Hwy 17 Connector

San Jose, CA (September 11, 2025) – At least one person was injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning, September 9, in San Jose. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at about 7:16 a.m. on northbound Interstate 280 near the Highway 17 connector.

A motorcycle and an SUV, believed to be a Toyota 4Runner, were involved in the collision. Officials have not yet determined what led to the crash. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the SUV driver was not reported.

Traffic in the area slowed as crews responded to the scene and cleared the roadway. Commuters experienced delays while officers worked to ensure safety and remove the vehicles involved.
