Santa Clarita, CA (September 23, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered injuries Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot near a crosswalk in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita.
The incident occurred around 1:29 p.m., according to dispatch audio from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – Santa Clarita Valley Division.
Initial reports indicate that a vehicle, parked in the lot, was involved in the incident. The pedestrian, who was walking near a crosswalk, reported pain following the collision. Emergency responders were notified, and medical assistance was dispatched to the scene.
The suspect vehicle reportedly remained in the parking lot, and both involved parties stayed at the scene. Authorities confirmed that law enforcement and emergency personnel would respond to further assess the situation.
