Santa Cruz County, CA (January 31, 2026) – Two individuals were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the Ben Lomond area of Santa Cruz County. The collision took place at approximately 11:49 a.m. on State Route 9 at Main St, directly in front of Ben Lomond Liquors.
Emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol, local fire departments, and AMR were dispatched to the scene after reports of a significant crash involving a Ford Mustang electric SUV and a second vehicle. According to authorities, one of the vehicles also struck a nearby bus stop during the collision.
