Santa Rosa County, FL (January 27, 2025) – A 77-year-old woman from Milton, Florida, tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. on Old Bagdad Highway, east of Oak Forest Drive. Authorities reported that the driver of a Chevrolet SUV suffered a suspected medical episode, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and collide with a tree.
Emergency responders transported the woman to Santa Rosa Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity has not yet been released as officials work to notify her family.
