Schaumburg, IL (September 21, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic accident with injuries on the southbound side of Route 53, just south of Higgins Rd. The incident occurred at approximately 5:27 a.m. on September 20.
Paramedics from Schaumburg Fire, including Ambulance 10 and Engine 10, were dispatched to the scene where injuries were reported. The accident temporarily obstructed traffic while responders provided on-site care to the injured and worked to clear the affected vehicles from the highway.
